Dalada Uplands
So a friend and I decided to go farm rep pts and explore/VQ for master of the north title track today in Dalada Uplands HM.
The thing is.. All the Mantids auto res, and I don't get it. We will kill a group and they will just randomly res themselves. Can anyone explain this to me?! |

Well I can not explain it. It is just how it happens.
That said..try bringing a ranger with the skill that prevents res. I can not remember the name and do not have access to the wiki at work. I use it in my trapper build...otherwise you will just have to kill them over and over again |

Frozen soil wont stop 'em from rezzing. It's just one of those things that they do (and has been confirmed to not be a bug or other error).
I usually just hang back a couple of seconds after killing the mob, then if they decide to come back and play just whack 'em back down again, then move off to the next mob. They will only come back the once. |

Its a monster skill that gives them a 25% chance to auto-rez, forget the name of it though...

Actually, they can come back more than once. I had a nymph return 3 times. But with the chance being only 25% each time, you will eventually take them all down.
But, hey, it's only fair. After all, how many times do we players rez when the mobs are trying to kill us? Last edited by Tom Swift; Apr 07, 2009 at 06:44 PM // 18:44.. |

Take a few minion masters to use their corpses... they don't come back then

Yes they rez, yes they leave corpses, no... exploiting doesn't prevent the rezzing.
But the low % chance for them to rez means the fight will not be endless. Just treat them like titans and play whack-a-mole until they stop getting up. |

I have found that if I move away quickly enough, they won't res for a third time, but normally have to quick a couple of them twice.

Nothing will prevent their auto rez. Nothing. Taking an MM isn't going to stop it, it just takes advantage of an easy source of corpses. Once you will one, it has a 25% chance to auto rez with low health and energy. This means a second kill is easy, and they leave exploitable corpses with each death.... so another minion. The only thing I have seen faill to auto rez is the boss.
